The Jersey Darts Organisation held qualifiers to select the team to compete in one of the longest-running darts championships of which former winners include Phil Taylor, Andy Fordham and Raymond Barneveld.

Dave Eusebini gets Jersey’s competition under way with his match against England’s Dave Whicombe starting at The Spa in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, at 10 am tomorrow.

Also representing the Island are Phil Speak, Bobby Williams, Mike High, Nathan Le Bailly, and Eddie Le Bailly senior.

Following in his father’s footsteps will be Eddie Le Bailly junior (14) who qualified for the junior event and takes on Wales’ Josh Sterry in his first match.
