A SIX-STOREY apartment block next to the Radisson Hotel on the Waterfront has been approved – just days before developers Jersey Waterfront Holdings Ltd’s exclusive permit to build on the site expires.

The company, chaired by Ted Clucas, has been given permission to build 12 two- and three-bedroom flats on the currently empty site, north of the hotel.

The company originally received permission to build the hotel in 1999 and in 2003 had their application for a five-storey wing of serviced apartments approved.

The approved building will have a basement car park with five floors of residential flats and a penthouse apartment set back on the roof.
