THE draining of Havre des Pas pool this week provided the opportunity for JEP photographer David Ferguson to capture some stunning and unusual sights.
He donned his wetsuit and was in the pool as the seawater poured back in over the wall. Each year the pool is drained for cleaning and the debris left at the bottom is removed before the height of the summer season.
This year fishing nets, corrugated iron and even a child’s scooter were all removed from the bottom of the pool.
