ANOTHER child’s tooth and more bone fragments were found in a cellar at Haut de la Garenne by the forensic team at the weekend.
This now makes a total of eight children’s teeth that have been discovered during the recent weeks of investigation in cellars at the former children’s home.
And the police have responded to more criticism levelled at the inquiry team led by Deputy police chief Lenny Harper which appeared in some national newspapers over the weekend.
In a statement issued today, police said that they wished to comment on the charge that their press releases about the initial finding of what they had described as ‘human remains of a child’ had been sensationalised by them.
