The seven-times Prix d’Honneur winners announced today that they have managed to find a new designer, since their long-time designer Marcus Davies pulled out, and a place to build and store their float.

But they still have not found a young woman from St Clement who will represent the parish, and the deadline for entries is this Wednesday.

Chairman of the parish’s Battle Association Jean Chapman says that she is delighted that designer Mark Holly has stepped in to fill Marcus Davies’ shoes, and that the team have found a warehouse at Jersey Harbour – all they need now is a parish queen.
