The Old Victorian, who is currently coaching at Les Ormes Golf Club, is looking to compete in events in France, Switzerland and Austria together with several in the United Kingdom.
Jones, who has secured a sponsorship with Bel Royal Motors, also recently received a professional examination award.
The 21-year-old said: ‘I’m very pleased with the accolade; every year the Professional Golfers’ Association make a class graduate award and I’m delighted to receive it after finishing top after all the examinations.
‘I will be starting the season later this year and I’m really looking forward to it.
‘My first event will be in mid-May when I play in the Hampshire PGA Matchplay in Romsey.’
Jones has not decided his Alps Tour schedule yet.
He added: ‘Last year competing for the first time was a major step up for me and in a way it was very much a learning experience; the Tour starts soon but as yet I’ve not decided which events I will take part in.
‘Bel Royal Motors’ support will make a big difference to me as I can get away more without having to worry about the costs as much.
‘There is no reason why I can’t continue to improve while playing away; I now know what it is all about and having put in a lot of work on my game over the winter I will hopefully get some better results as well.’
Last summer Jones played on the South Region tour winning at South Winchester together with recording two top five finishes and several others in the top ten.
