Previously the special school was completely based on one location, but at the beginning of this school year secondary pupils moved to a new building on the Haute Vallée site.
The southern wings of the main school, which used to house the secondary pupils, are now lying empty.
If plans are approved these will be demolished and replaced with a new structure, containing the pool, gym and classrooms.
