Robbie Grant and the three other members of Team Pura Vida were 278 miles from victory at 6 am today.
Since they set off from the Canary Islands on 2 December, they have heaved their small vessel 2,274 nautical miles (around 2,729 land miles) across the ocean.
Throughout the journey, the team members have been relaying the highs and lows of their adventure via a blog.
