The group are taking part in the Bedell Group Vietnam Challenge 2007 and during a year of fund-raising have beaten their target of £330,000. The challenge will see over 60 cyclists and 30 trekkers taking to the remote north of Vietnam and covering a combined distance of 780 km over two weeks. Hospice fund-raising manager Katrina Bell said: ‘We have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of those taking part in what promises to be our most exciting and adventurous challenge yet. Their fund-raising efforts have been tireless over the past year and it is an incredible achievement to be leaving for Vietnam having already reached – and overtaken – their £330,000 target.’
