The airline has placed a recruitment advertisement for pilots in both Jersey and Guernsey to see whether there is a possibility of expanding its freight services.
BAC Express is part of the 2morrow group of companies, which also owns HD Ferries and will soon be changing its name to HD Air.
BAC’s operations officer, James Pennington, said: ‘At the moment we do not have a base in the Channel Islands.
We are looking to expand and the Channel Islands are part of our plans.
We wanted to send out some feelers about who was around pilot-wise.
