Top bands and DJs entertained fans on Saturday and Sunday at the Royal Jersey Showground as Jersey Live stretched itself over two days for the first time. Kasabian, the Twang and the Super Furry Animals as well as DJs Steve Lawler and Digitalism kept the crowd jumping, while Glastonbury flags and giant hands around the arena made the showground look the part. Organiser Warren Le Sueur said that Jersey Live 2007 was the best ever and praised both the fans and his team for making it possible. ‘It seems like a complete success. I haven’t had any official reports yet but I understand there were a relatively low number of arrests. ‘Overall, it was a pretty good weekend. The whole team – from the security to the management team – excelled themselves.’
