Minister's e-mails were 'insulting'

Senator Stuart Syvret attacked her in the e-mails and described the way that she had resigned as ‘utterly reprehensible’. She says that he had declined an offer to meet her. Meanwhile, Senator Syvret will find out this afternoon whether the appointment of Senator Ben Shenton as the new assistant minister will be ‘signed off’ by the Chief Minister. Senator Shenton says that if there is any attempt to block it, he will do the job ‘unofficially’. Deputy Scott Warren’s resignation, announced on Saturday, followed recent controversy surrounding Senator Syvret, who is expected to face a vote of no confidence in the House next month.
