Mia Coombs-Goodfellow’s parents say they have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity and the decision by Channel 103fm’s charity Help a Jersey Child to buy the specialist three-wheeler. Ian and Kerry Coombs-Goodfellow wrote to the charity to ask for financial help in purchasing a specialised trike for their daughter, Mia. The trike was recommended by Mia’s medical team to strengthen her muscles, improve her mobility and aid her ongoing development. Mr and Mrs Coombs-Goodfellow were shocked when Help a Jersey Child funded the entire purchase.
