Savills Private Finance Channel Islands, a company owned by Savills Private Finance, opened its office in Seale Street at the end of last month.
The company, which advises clients on all aspects of mortgage finance, including new purchases, re-mortgages and investment finance, opened an office in Guernsey last year when it bought brokerage firm Goldridge de Beauvoir.
Jody Whittingham has been appointed to manage the SPF Jersey branch.
She has lived in the Island for 15 years and previously worked for The Mortgage Shop, which she joined in January 2002, and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Kerrie Carlyon also joins the team after working at The Mortgage Shop.
Tracey Walsh is administrator and the broker is in the process of recruiting another consultant.
Savills Private Finance, which was established in 1997, is a firm of independent financial advisers offering advice in all aspects of personal finance, specialising in mortgage advice.
