The draft law, which was released today, outlines the rights people will have when purchasing goods and services in the Island. Mirroring the UK Sales of Goods Act, the Supply of Goods and Services (Jersey) Law aims to introduce statutory rights which cover everything from being able to return faulty items to a store in exchange for a full refund to putting pressure on contractors to deliver and/or install goods in a reasonable amount of time.
