Bank clerk Mick Radcliffe led the way with an excellent haul of four golds – two individual and two team gongs.
The 52-year-old won both the black powder revolver and black powder percussion revolver individual competitions and, partnered by Jersey flagbearer Bob Blake, topped the leader board in the team events.
Jersey’s other gold was the Island’s opening medal of the Games, won by veteran Derek Bernard and regular Games hot-shot Dave Ward.
The duo were crowned military rapid team event winners, where marksmen have to shoot five shots in ten seconds four times, five shots in eight seconds four times and finally five shots in six seconds four times.
Silver was attained by Mike Quénault and Dave Ward in the air pistol men’s team event and bronze by Blake in the black powder percussion revolver.
