There were 89 applications and 70 students have received placements on the scheme.
The initiative, which runs over the summer, was set up by the Institute of Directors and is sponsored by Mourant and supported by the Jersey Careers Service.
The Year 12 students shadow a senior member of staff at a local business or in the States of Jersey, in order to improve their understanding of how a large organisation is run.
