The man was said to be involved in a ‘disruptive passenger incident’ on board flight BE950 that arrived at Gatwick about 7 pm. Flybe general manager for market development Ian Taylor said the airline had decided to press charges. Sussex police arrested the man, who is not thought to be a Jersey resident, and members of the airline crew were required to be interviewed by the police. This caused the return flight to be delayed by about 70 minutes.
