Give music a sporting chance, minister urged

As young people took over the States Chamber for the annual Youth Assembly, Senator Mike Vibert found himself on the end of some tough questioning. Hautlieu student Ryan Crawford asked him whether he would consider turning one of the properties the States are selling off into a ‘teaching centre, rehearsal venue and recording location for young musicians’. Senator Vibert’s response that Sounds Workshop in La Motte Street was currently being refurbished, prompted more questions.
