The firm, which opened for business last September and now operates in Jersey and Guernsey, has struck a deal with Cisco who provide the IT infrastructure for most companies in the Channel Islands.
Comtrain say they can offer training on the entire range of Cisco products through their pool of around 20 instructors.
Gordon Porter, sales director of Comtrain who also set up the company, arrived in Jersey four years ago.
Before that he had a similar operation called European Technical Support based in Surrey which subsequently merged with another firm to create the Q6 group.
He said: ‘It’s great news for us and for the many local companies who have invested in Cisco infrastructure and IP telephony solutions and who can now access this training locally, rather than having the additional expense of travelling to the UK.
