The cost of a paycard will go up by two pence to 52p while season tickets, which are valid in any long stay car park, are going up by £3 to £88. The cost of a half permit, valid for every car park where one unit is charged for every two hours, will be £44. Transport and Technical Services’ chief officer John Richardson said the the rise takes account of inflation since the last increase, which was in February last year. Previously purchased paycards are still valid and can continue to be used.
