The Guernsey-based law firm arrived in Jersey last year expecting to increase their staff numbers to around 15 within two to three years, but now a licence has been granted for 50.
The boom in business and staff numbers has meant that they have had to find new premises, and they expect to move from their current Burrard Street offices with a floor area of 1,500 sq ft to a new 10,000 sq ft base on the Esplanade by September.
The Jersey arm of the company has so far recruited Andrew Pinel, a Jersey advocate and an established employment and corporate lawyer from Walkers; Neil Henderson, an English solicitor who trained with Galsworthy and Stones and then joined Rathbones in Jersey; and Elaine Woosey, an English solicitor from a UK Legal 500 law firm.
Both Advocate Pinel and Mr Henderson join the firm as associates.
An additional but un-named senior corporate and trusts lawyer from another established law firm will be joining next month and a senior litigator has been lined up for the summer.
