Holly Dangerfield’s Jack Russell D’Arty (named after the musketeer d’Artagnan) was being looked after while she was away on holiday when it is believed that someone left the gate open to the garden where he was being kept with other dogs.
D’Arty is a small black dog with a white ruff around his neck, large tan ears and black tail with a white tip.
On her return from holiday, Ms Dangerfield immediately started a major search by placing advertisements in the media, scouring areas of reported sightings, and putting up posters.
She has also offered a £400 reward for his return.
