The BBC 2 documentary ‘Blizzard: Race To The Pole’ is bringing history to life by recreating Scott and Amundsen’s race across Antarctica.
Bruce Parry, who stars in the TV documentary ‘Tribe’, is leading a Bri-tish team who are competing against a team of Norwegians.
The series is being screened on BBC2 both on Sunday and on Wednesday at 9 pm.
A major part of the challenge has been for both teams to carry the same supplies as their countrymen did in 1911.
And the tea which Scott carried has been traced to Cooper & Co, tea and coffee specialists in Jersey.
