The Hockey Club-based outfit were relegated to Division II in the Coca-Cola Combination in April, for the first time in their history, but despite the setback they have recaptured Andrews and three former Island under-21 caps, Paul Banahan, Russell Osmand and Leigh A’Court, together with former Jersey under-18 striker Karl Stoodley.
Wanderers manager Daryn Noble said: ‘Our aim is to get back into Division I at the first attempt and these signings can help us achieve that.
‘The majority of them have come through the junior system at Wanderers and personally I’m delighted they have returned.
I think they’ve learned a thing or two being at other clubs and now realise the effort our coaches put in for them over the years when they were previously here.
‘I believe they’ve returned because they have heard how good our coaching has been under new coach Peter McVey.
Peter has been top notch for us and I believe the players respect that.
‘A couple of others have joined us too, giving us a bit more strength in depth while, unfortunately, we’ve lost junior James Quérée to Bournemouth.
James is a smashing player with a great attitude and we all wish him well.
‘If a situation a rises with any player at our club be wanted by another club off the Island we will certainly not stand in their way.’ On Andrews, Noble said he hoped his move would not jeopardise his chances of continuing to play for Jersey.
Fitness trainer Andrews (23) said: ‘I enjoyed my two years at Scottish, I won a few things but now I feel the time is right to go back to my roots at Wanderers.
