The minister believes that such an approach could prove popular with the public and increase the use of public transport by people living in outlying areas.
Meanwhile, he has revealed that bus operator Connex is not happy with the design of the new transportation centre under construction at the Island Site.
The centre does not have enough spaces to act as a depot and buses will still have to be driven to and from La Collette to allow drivers to take meal breaks and complete shift changes.
