The main promoter and representative of the Island’s financial services sector announced a number of new initiatives for 2006, including three new ‘think tanks’.
Addressing the lunchtime audience of 200 at the Hotel de France – including the Chief Minister Frank Walker, and Economic Development Minister Philip Ozouf – JFL chief executive Phil Austin said 2005 had been a good year for the industry.
‘I’ve seen many of you prancing around St Helier with your bonus cheque in your back pocket – and I hope that our plans for this coming year capture that that optimism,’ he said.
