The Tourism Development Fund have agreed to spend £15,000 introducing iPods at Jersey Museum and the Island’s castles to provide guided tours of everything from history to wildlife.

The iPod Shuffles, which retail at about £70 each, will be introduced at Jersey Heritage Trust sites from April.

Audio guides have never before been used at the trust sites, and marketing manager Christopher Journeaux said that getting iPods was cheaper than buying traditional audio guide equipment.
