Marcio Ruben Rodrigues (18), currently unemployed and living in St Helier, is charged with the robbery and theft of a mobile phone on the morning of 8 August.
He also faces a separate charge of breaking and entering Don’s Beach House Restaurant in Gorey on 29 July and the theft of a lap-top and jewellery.
Police said today they were very grateful to the public for their positive response to the appeal for information following the alleged attack on the woman near the entrance to staff quarters at the Hotel de France.
