The probability of timeshare as part of the Crossland proposals came out on Friday at a lunch organised by the Jersey Hospitality Association.
Guest speaker Senator Frank Walker, president of the Policy & Resources Committee, pledged to give the tourism industry full support, including financial backing from the earnings of the Strategic Reserve.
Senator Walker pointed to the £350 million of private sector investment in the Island’s waterfront as a sign of business confidence and said that he had every expectation that the tourism industry would grow.
