The re-launch of the New Safeway this week accompanied by an aggressive marketing campaign has brought the Co-op out fighting.
They have accused New Safeway of pocketing 17.5 per cent VAT on some special offers while New Safeway are offering customers the chance to use Co-op discount vouchers at the Valleé des Vaux store.
