A sign saying so was erected earlier this week at the pub and restaurant.

The pub is known to be leased from the Randalls group and it is understood that an application was scheduled to be made to the Royal Court on Friday for the lease to be cancelled.

Rozel Bay Hotel Ltd is the first defendant in actions being brought by Randalls Properties and Randalls Vautier in the court on friday afternoon.

The second defendants are Ian Hamilton King and John Ellis, the former States Senator.

Neither man responded to invitations to comment on the closure of the pub, but they are both named as defendants in other actions brought by finance companies RoyScot Jersey and Lombard Finance CI, as well as a second action tabled by Randalls Vautier.

The Royscot case is against the Rozel Bay Inn, Mr Ellis, Mr King, Stefan Gnatiuk and Clive Tomes.

The Lombard action is against Bar Ten Ltd and the same four men, and the Randalls Vautier action is against a company named RB Management and the four men.

Mr King is known to have been running the pub/restaurant for some time and was on the premises last weekend.
