The modern structure, which has been designed by Naish Waddington, will house the 140 Rathbone staff who currently work in three separate buildings in Seaton Place, St Peter, and the Weighbridge.
Rathbone is a subsidiary of Rathbone Brothers plc, a FTSE 250 company and provider of discretionary fund management and wealth management services for private clients and trustees.
The new building, which is between the premises occupied by private bank SG Hambros and law firm Bailhache Labesse, follows an increasing trend to relocate to the Esplanade rather than the town centre.
