The JEP’s consumer column Fair Play has found that the telecommunications company has been making mistakes and terminating accounts even though customers have been using them according to their contracts.

Last week it was reported in Fair Play that one customer’s pre-paid mobile phone was cut off because the customer had not used it for six months.

Douglas Gilmore (79) had the phone for emergencies and when his wife’s car broke down last month they found that the phone was dead.

Mr Gilmore was insistent that the phone had been used within the last six months.
