Flash Days are intended to make use of the Island’s heritage as a resource for Jersey’s young people and are aimed at children up to the age of 12.

Heritage Trust head of community learning Doug Ford said: ‘Flash Days are a new initiative within the trust’s ongoing lifelong learning agenda.

The aim of the Flash Day programme of activities is to link directly with the learning experiences of Island students but in a heritage location rather than the classroom.

And because we are encouraging parents and grandparents to participate older learners should also benefit.’ He said the activities would include quizzes, experiments, art and craft, storytelling and scavenger hunts.

The days will be provided on a drop-in basis and parents will be able to participate.
