The computer holds treasured memories and records which can never be replaced.
Odetta Dionisio, of Le Pré Cadoret, Rue de Haut, said they had given up hope of finding the computer but she hoped by appealing to the thief’s better judgment they could recover the hard drive.
‘Even if we did not get the computer back, the person who took it could drop the discs through our letterbox or pop them in the post.’ The discs contained irreplaceable family photographs.
Mrs Dionisio said her husband, Clestino, was upset as he both his parents recently passed away, and now he has lost pictures of them going back 25 years.
