The hosts impressed, winning all seven matches with three pairings decided on the 17th green and one at the 18th.
The match included a repeat of the Channel Islands Matchplay final with Jersey’s Paul Le Chevalier defeating Guernsey’s David Rowlinson – this time 3 and 2.
Royal Jersey secretary Darren Attwood said: ‘It was an excellent team victory and we play Hayling Island or Test Valley in the quarter-finals away on a date to be arranged before 29 August.
‘The highlight of the match was Paul Le Chevalier’s eagle-three at the ninth and after winning the tenth he was in a strong position of three-up.
He lost the twelfth because he had to concede a shot on handicap and neither player putted as well as they had done in last weekend’s CI final.’ Stuart Crossan and James Birch both won 5 and 4, Crossan against Royal Guernsey president John Herschal who was a last-minute replacement as Mick Marley injured a thumb.
Crossan was three-up after four holes while Birch scored birdies at the first three holes to put on the way to success.
Steven Bowen came from two holes down to beat Guernsey’s Michel Davy 2 and 1 while Robbie Messervy won by the same score for the hosts against John Le Lièvre.
Anton Swemmer also won 2 and 1 for Royal Jersey.
Two-up after seven holes Swemmer played solidly to defeat Nigel Vaudin.
Former Hampshire County champion Christy McLaughlin let slip a three-hole lead after eleven to be all-square after 16.
The 17th was halved before McLaughlin won at the 18th to finish one up.
