St Clement A, league and inter-island club champions, underlined their superiority by taking the treble in what has been a fantastic season for them.The Rest was made up of a mixture of other top club players who, although they had never played as a team before, made a confident start.Scores were level for ten minutes, then the Rest edged ahead after well-timed feeds into the circle by WA Chris Hicks, but the Saints maintained their composure and were ahead at the end of the first quarter.St Clement steadily took control of the game, just as they did in Guernsey last weekend, GK Sharon West making outstanding interceptions.The Rest made some changes at half-time, but the Saints were well into their stride by then, with GS Zoe Hotton positioning well under the post despite relentless defending by Holly Oakes.This was an exciting game, and although the champions were comfortable winners, the Rest played first-class netball and never gave up.JNA president Ann Halliwell presented the cup.
