Following a survey of park users, the authorities are now investigating if it could be used for other sports, particularly skateboarding.
Currently, young people are regularly seen skateboarding all around the park.
The idea follows work carried out by various States departments and organisations including the police, the Youth Service, Transport and Technical Services, the Parish of St Helier, the honorary police, the Community and School Sports department and Freedom Church to find ways to enhance the park and combat anti-social behaviour in the area.
