Favourite eases through as pro squash returns to Jersey

Playing at St Clement’s Squash Club top seed Daryl Selby eased through his quarter-final match against Stuart Crawford with a 3-0 win.

The second seed Alan Clyne also rolled through to the next round with a 3-0 triumph over Peter Billson and it was smooth sailing for Simon Parke, too, as he progressed with a 3-0 victory over Steve Meads.

However, the biggest challenge of the night fell to Andy Whipp as he was pushed all the way by Joel Hinds but remained focused and battled it out for a 3-2 triumph.
