The States police say they are treating the incident as suspicious, an investigation codenamed Operation Gable has been launched and a major incident room has been set up at police HQ.
Officers were called to the property at 10.49 am this morning by the Ambulance Service.
Crime scene investigators have been working at the scene looking for evidence while detectives have interviewed key witnesses.
The Deputy Viscount Advocate Mark Harris has also been informed.
