The crash happened at approximately 2.48 pm when the man’s motorcycle and a car collided at the junction of Castle Street and the Esplanade.
The man, who is understood to live in Jersey, was taken to the Hospital by ambulance and arrived at the emergency department at 3.28 pm. A spokesman for the Hospital said that his condition was stable.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old male, was unhurt in the collision.
