Views sought on the regeneration of town

Environment Minister Steve Luce is keen to hear how Jersey residents think town should be improved under what the Council of Ministers has called the Future St Helier Project.

Two workshops are due to be held on Saturday 17 September at the Town Hall.

St Helier’s regeneration has been identified as a key strategic priority for the Island, and the drop-in sessions have been organised to allow authorities to explain what work has gone on in town since a similar consultation was held last year and to ask people to give their views on changes to traffic management in the Island’s capital.

Workshops are due to run from 9 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.15 pm to 4.45 pm.

The sessions are open to all but those representing stakeholders that are interested in attending must register in advance by contacting the Environment Department by phoning 448441 or 448458, or by emailing futuresthelier@gov.je.
