The 20-year-old disappeared in the early hours of Saturday 5 December after a work Christmas party at the Merton Hotel .
He was dropped off a taxi near Carrefour Selous at around midnight and offices believe he was last seen on CCTV at 2.17 am near Thistle Grove commercial estate.
Now the force say they remain ‘committed’ to finding the electrician but they are scaling down search efforts so they can ‘concentrate on the investigative element of the inquiry’.
In a statement the States police said: ‘Whilst search efforts have been going on for the past 16 days for missing Adrian, a team of detectives have been working behind the scenes following up more than 100 other lines of inquiry.
This has included everything from house to house enquiries, gathering witness statements and reviewing CCTV in the area.
Adrian went missing following his work’s Christmas party at the Merton Hotel on Friday 4 December. He was dropped off by a taxi just after midnight in the area of Six Roads.’
