Drummer Ernie Mallett has received a British Empire Medal for his services to young people, particularly in music education.
And Sister Pascaline Joseph, an Irish national who has lived in Jersey for decades while working at the Little Sisters of the Poor, has received an honorary British award of a BEM for her services to the elderly.
