Officers were called to a property in Queen’s Road at about 8pm on Monday and found a 64-year-old man dead in the flat.
In a statement, the States police said: ‘The exact cause of death at this time is unknown and is being treated as unexplained.
‘His next of kin are aware and a home office post-mortem will be arranged. The Deputy Viscount has also been informed.
‘No further comments will be made at this stage.’
