A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in town.
The force said an investigation into the incident, which took place earlier this afternoon by a pedestrian crossing near the bus station, is ongoing.
A police spokesperson said it involved a single vehicle and that a pedestrian suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
They said that the individual’s injuries are not believed to be life changing.
The road has since been reopened.
