Ten of the complaints were about what Deputy Sam Mézec had written on either Facebook or his blog. However, only three were upheld.
In each of the three cases the Deputy was asked to remove the material from the internet, according to the FoI, which was not submitted by the JEP.
One complaint was made about what Deputy Montfort Tadier had written on a blog site and Facebook page, but no action was taken ‘as time had elapsed and no further complaint was received’, according to the report.
In September 2016, a complaint was made about Home Affairs Minister Kristina Moore ‘failing to respond to correspondence’, but it was not upheld.
And in August this year a complaint was made about Deputy Andrew Lewis ‘lying’ to both the States and the Independent Jersey Care Inquiry over the suspension of police chief Graham Power in 2008.
This complaint was upheld and the States ultimately backed a vote of censure against the politician.
All of the complaints were lodged between November 2015 and August this year.
