1600 – Birmingham have made light of Taylor Gardner-Hickman crawling back on the pitch while injured on Saturday, which went viral and infuriated Rotherham boss Steve Evans, while announcing the midfielder’s permanent move to the club from Bristol City on social media.
1540 – On Cameron, Rangers technical director Nils Koppen said: “I am delighted that we have agreed a deal for Lyall to join the club and to continue his career at Rangers come the summer. He is a talented young player, who has already gained great experience in the Scottish Premiership, and adding young, Scottish talent to our first-team squad is hugely important to all of us at the club. Lyall has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow at Rangers in the coming years.”
1520 – Over in Scotland, Rangers and Dundee have confirmed that Under-21 international Lyall Cameron will move to Ibrox in the summer. A Dundee statement read: “Lyall will continue to be a valuable member of the Dundee FC squad for the remainder of the season.”
1505 – Back in the Championship, Preston have taken Ryan Porteous off Watford’s hands on loan. The Scottish defender played under North End boss Paul Heckingbottom at Hibernian.
1445 – Tel has not scored this season in 14 appearances, but the 19-year-old is highly rated and Postecoglou likes working with young players.
1421 – Big news for Tottenham fans! Spurs have managed to revive their move for Mathys Tel with the Bayern Munich forward set to join the club. Spurs entered talks for the 19-year-old last week after an agreement with Bayern had been struck for a deal in the region of 60million euros (£50.2m). However, negotiations stalled on Friday with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United also interested in France international Tel, but he is now set to link up with Tottenham, although the exact structure of the deal is still to be finalised.
1405 – West Ham have their man. Evan Ferguson joins on loan from Brighton until the end of the season, reuniting with Potter.
The Republic of Ireland international said: “It feels good to be here. Seeing the stadium and being here today, I’ve got a very good feeling. I can see and know how big West Ham United is. It was a big opportunity for me to come here. I know the gaffer well and look forward to working under him again. I want to come in and do my best for the club, score goals, and see where we get to.”
Potter added: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to bring Evan in on loan until the end of the season. He’s a player we obviously know very well, so I’m grateful to the board for bringing him in. He’s got plenty of quality attributes as a striker that we believe will benefit the group over the course of the coming months.”

1340 – Finally a signing! League One high-flyers Wycombe end the drought, bringing in free agent Adam Reach.
1335 – The latest on Villa from our chief Midlands correspondent Jonathan Veal. “Villa are working on signing Asensio on loan and still want a defender, but nothing is imminent yet.”
1320 – Rashford has taken the number nine shirt at Villa after Duran’s departure to the Saudi Premier League.
1300 – It all went quiet on Arsenal’s bid for Ollie Watkins after Villa sold Jhon Duran for big money. There does not appear to be any signs of the Gunners going back in for the England striker on deadline day… yet!
1235 – Alvaro Morata has spoken after joining Turkish champions Galatasaray on loan from AC Milan with a view to a permanent deal. The Spanish striker said: “I’m very happy to come because this is a very big club. I hope we can achieve all our goals in the league, the cup and the Europa League. I can’t wait to get together with my team-mates and help them. I want to see the atmosphere in the stadium live as soon as possible. I can promise that I will give my all on the field and fight for the jersey.”
1135 – Things have slowed up as we head towards lunchtime! Disasi’s name is still doing the rounds, despite Tottenham stepping away, with Villa reportedly still in talks with the defender.
1110 – James Ward-Prowse’s loan spell at Nottingham Forest has ended and the midfielder has returned to West Ham. A Forest statement said: “Everyone at Forest thanks James for his professionalism and dedication during his time on Trentside and wish him well for the future.”
Cardiff have brought in midfielder Will Alves on loan from Leicester, with Championship rivals Norwich signing defender Ruairi McConville from Brighton on a long-term contract.
1045 – Rashford has given his first interview as a Villa player. He told Villa TV: “Definitely excited. It’s an ambitious time for this club and a great opportunity for me to join this team and help them keep pushing forward. I’m excited and can’t wait for the first training session and game. He’s (Unai Emery) a top manager and what he’s done for the club since coming in is unbelievable. It’s their constant ambition which is attractive and why you want to join such a club. You want to keep improving year on year and that’s what the team’s been doing and doing this year.”
1035 – Middlesbrough play Sunderland tonight in a top Championship tussle, but that won’t stop them entering the market. Michael Carrick has brought in Samuel Iling-Junior on loan from Villa, after the winger was recalled from his stint at Bologna.
1015 – Not transfer related but big news from the bottom of League Two. Carlisle, propping up the table and five points from safety, have sacked manager Mike Williamson.
1005: Burnley are looking to bolster their squad for the Championship run-in and they have just done that, pulling off somewhat of a coup to lure Marcus Edwards away from Sporting Lisbon on loan until the end of the campaign. Clarets boss Scott Parker coached Edwards during his time in the Tottenham academy. “It feels amazing. Burnley is like a Premier League club. I’m really happy to be here,” Edwards said.
Villa have let another player go, allowing Sil Swinkels to link up with Bristol Rovers on a temporary basis.
1000 – Brighton are planning ahead. The Seagulls have signed Stefanos Tzimas from Bundesliga 2 side FC Nuremburg for a reported £20million, with the 19-year-old forward remaining with the German club on loan for the rest of the season.
0940 – I said Tottenham would be browsing the market today, but they won’t be bringing in a defender from their London rivals, according to our Spurs correspondent George Sessions. “Tottenham are exploring potential options on transfer deadline day, but will not pursue a move for Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi, who has been heavily linked with the club in the last 24 hours.”
0937 – Middlesbrough have let Alex Gilbert join Charlton on loan, while Bristol City have handed Mark Sykes a contract extension.
0930 – Joao Felix could look for more game time after struggling to get into Chelsea’s starting XI. The Portugal forward has been linked with AC Milan, for whom Kyle Walker made his debut in the derby with Inter Milan on Sunday night.
0905 – An early one in the Championship. Millwall have paid an undisclosed fee to capture 21-year-old winger Benicio Baker from Brighton.
0836 – Villa are expected to be busy today with Asensio and possibly a defender following Rashford through the door. It’s not just incomings at Villa Park though, with right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic joining RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season.
0830 – Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has spoken a lot about needing help in the market after his side have struggled with injuries, with Kevin Danso signing on loan from Lens on Sunday. Will a striker come through the door at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
