In a bid to improve the opportunities given to their players, Gary Freeman’s side hope to combine their Jersey Football Combination league campaign with knock-out fixtures against top clubs from the country’s south-east.
Both the Jersey FA and Football Combination have offered their support to the move, and early discussions appear to suggest Kent officials will accept the application before fixtures for the 2017/18 season are set.
